Requirements: The Okonkwo Laboratory in the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center is seeking a highly motivated new/recent PhD graduate who is looking to expand their knowledge in the area of neuroscience and lifestyle factors affecting brain health. Interest in neuroimaging analysis would be given preferential consideration. This position requires analytic thinking, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and study participants. The Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison conducts research in the field of aging and dementia, and seeks to establish effective prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's Disease.

Job Duties: The Okonkwo lab focuses on modifiable and non-modifiable factors linked to cognitive decline. The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Ozioma Okonkwo on projects related to this research agenda. Specific duties will include identifying research questions, conducting analyses, assisting in the writing of grants and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, mentoring undergraduate students, and additional duties as requested by the principal investigator. The successful applicant must have excellent scientific, organizational, record-keeping, and problem-solving skills.
