Center for Craniofacial Research

Craniofacial malformations are among the most common birth defects in humans.
These complex disorders are often associated with developmental disabilities, abnormalities in brain growth, hearing loss and problems with breathing, chewing, swallowing, seeing and speaking.
The mission of the Center for Craniofacial Research is to increase our understanding of the causes of craniofacial malformations while defining new diagnostic and treatment strategies — all to improve quality of life and outcomes for children and teens.
