Diabetes and Obesity Center of Excellence

The Diabetes & Obesity Center of Excellence (DOCE) at the University of Washington works towards a better understanding of the causes and consequences of obesity, diabetes and related disorders. Its team of world-renowned scientists also seeks to identify new approaches to the treat- ment and prevention of these important health problems. DOCE is an international leader in diabetes and obesity research with a focus on translating laboratory discoveries to real life applications.
