Dr. Jennifer Osborn is an Associate Program Officer in HIV Diagnostics at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked at PATH as a Program Associate developing point-of-care diagnostics for low-resource settings. Drawing from these experiences, Dr. Osborn will discuss the differences of working at a grant-funded NGO compared to a funding organization and will highlight the different roles that a PhD can play in both of these types of organizations.
