Faculty Highlights

John D. Scott
HHMI/ Department of Pharmacology
A current question in cellular regulation seeks to understand how signal transduction cascades are organized in space and time. The Scott lab uses a variety of genetic, molecular and live cell imaging techniques to discover how anchoring proteins (called AKAPs) organize signaling enzymes into localized transduction units that optimize cellular events.

Beatrice Knudsen
The Knudsen laboratory studies prostate cancer metastasis in multiple systems, including human tissue, 3-dimensional tissue culture models and animals. We investigate molecular mechanisms of metastatic progression using dynamic fluorescent imaging technologies in addition to conventional laboratory methods. |
