Recognizing the need for highly trained scientists conversant across
disciplines, the University of Washington and
the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center have
collaborated to create an interdisciplinary research program, the Molecular and Cellular Biology
Graduate Program (MCB).
For more than 15 years, MCB has combined the strengths of the FHCRC
together with ten top UW departments --from Biochemistry to Pharmacology-- in order to foster an
innovative and flexible graduate training program.
Joined recently by the Institute
for Systems Biology and the Seattle Biomedical
Research Institute, MCB offers a broad range of opportunities for research in all areas of
biomedical science.
Domestic Applications: All MCB Program application materials must be submitted online
by December 1.
International Applications: All required application materials
must be received in Graduate Admissions Office by November 1. The MCB Program application
must be complete and submitted online by November 1.
