Jackie Lang wins 1st Place Poster Award at AISES Conference

Jacquelyn Lang, 2^ndyear MCB graduate student in the Biggins Lab, FHCRC, Basic Sciences Division won 1st Place and $1,500 for her poster titled: “Sumoylation of the budding yeast CENP-A” at the  2012 AISES National Conference, held early in November in Anchorage, AK.

The mission of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is to substantially increase the representation of American Indians and Alaskan Natives in engineering, science, and other related technology disciplines.
