Summer Undergraduate Research Program
The Summer Undergraduate Research Program provides an opportunity for students to join a research team in one of several areas, including:
- Cellular and developmental biology
- Genetics
- Molecular immunology
- Oncogenes
- Virology
Students will also participate in Tuesday ‘coffee break’ sessions, weekly research seminars, and a final poster presentation.Currently enrolled undergraduate of junior or senior standing are eligible.

NMSU Cancer Research Internship
The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC) and New Mexico State University (NMSU) have established a program to join minority serving institutions with comprehensive cancer centers, funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
