Research

Research Summary:

We aim to understand the elusive relationship between chromatin conformation and epigenetic inheritance. We have recently expanded our scope from nucleosomes to other components of the epigenome, including nucleosome remodelers, transcription factors and RNA polymerases. Towards this end, we develop genomic and computational tools that allow us to elucidate transcriptional regulatory dynamics and the chromatin basis for centromere diversity.

Short Research Description:
epigenetic inheritance and chromosome structure
Areas of Interest:
Gene Expression, Cell Cycle & Chromosome Biology
Genetics, Genomics & Evolution
Keywords:
