I am interested in complex networks in biology, specifically in modeling the interactions of microbial communities. I am working with Dr. Elhanan Borenstein of the Department of Genome Sciences using Graph-Theoretic and Flux-Balance based approaches to design in-silico models of communities. I aim to take metagenomic data and infer a community "food web" which relates characteristic interactions of community members.
