Research Summary:

My current research interests include:

1) mechanisms of muscle paralysis induced osteoclastogenesis;

2) acute cellular signaling in response to mechanical stimuli;

3) developing strategies to make low magnitude mechanical loading osteogenic;

4) neuronal mediation of bone homeostasis;

5) the role of muscle function in fracture healing.
