Don’t miss the Weintraub Symposium!
The twelfth annual Harold M. Weintraub Graduate Student Award Symposium will be held on Friday, May 6th in Pelton Auditorium at the FHCRC.
The Weintraub Awards recognize outstanding scientific achievements by graduate students. The awardees are selected from across the country (and Canada) and are doing research in a wide variety of biological science fields, from evolution to biophysics. The Symposium will bring this year’s twelve awardees to the Hutch to present their impressive research. Come attend some or all of the talks and be inspired by the achievements of your fellow grad students!
All MCB students are invited to sign up for lunch with the awardees. Grad students in labs at the Hutch, as well as all first year MCB students, are also invited to dinner with the awardees at the Seattle Asian Art Museum, and to Saturday afternoon activities. Contact Michele Karantsavelos (email@example.com) to see if there’s still space. No RSVP is necessary to attend the talks, just show up!
