Application Checklist
All applicants must send the following six or seven items (as applicable) to the MCDM at:

- Printed copy of online application
- Official transcripts of previous college/university work. (Note: International applicants must send one set to the School and one set to Graduate Admissions)
- Letter of intent detailing study goals
- Three letters of recommendation (no forms required), signed by the recommender across the back envelope flap. These may arrive separately
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) taken within five years
- Resume of professional work experience
- International applicants only: Evidence of proficiency in English - minimum TOEFL score of 580P or 237C; English courses will be required for scores below these minimums.
International applicants and those who are applying by mail must send the following two to four items (as applicable) to:

- The original, white copy of the paper application or a printout of the online application must be sent to Graduate Admissions. Note that the Department Code for the MC in Digital Media is C-COM-E. (This code is asked for in question #18 for U.S. Residents and question #20 for International Students.)
- A check or money order made out to the University of Washington for the application fee of $50
- International applicants only: An additional, complete set of official transcripts
- International applicants only: An official copy of your TOEFL scores sent directly from the Educational Testing Service, Princeton, NJ 08541
