Regional and National

The 15th Annual Joint Conference on Health will be held at the Yakima Convention Center, October 6-8, 2008. The statewide meeting is sponsored by the Washington State Public Health Association and the Washington State Environmental Health Association in cooperation with the Washington State Department of Health and the Yakima Health District.

The Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) will hold its 59th Annual Meeting, Catching the Wave: Changing the Tides of Health Education and Health Promotion, at the Double Tree Hotel, San Diego, CA, October 23-25, 2008. Submission deadline for abstracts is March 10, 2008.

The American Public Health Association's 136th Annual Meeting and Exposition, Public Health Without Borders, will be held October 25-29, 2008, in San Diego, CA.

The Fourteenth Annual Maternal and Child Health Epidemiology Conference, Making Methods and Practice Matter for Women, Children and Families, will be held December 10-12, 2008, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia, Atlanta, Georgia.
