Help feed (and advise) a hungry medical student or two
through the Student-Alumni Informational Dinners (SAID)

Remember when you were a medical student? You were hungry for information. Hungry for advice. Hungry for support. Sometimes you were just plain hungry.

SAID, the Student-Alumni Informational Dinners are coordinated by the UW Medicine Alumni Relations office, and they’re designed to match medical students interested in a given specialty with UW School of Medicine alumni who practice in that specialty. The real-life advice and insight you can provide is really valuable to our students.

Details

Winter dinners are Saturday, February 28, or Sunday, March 1, 2009. Spring dinners are Saturday, April 4, or Sunday, April 5, 2009.
We’ll do our best to match you with students interested in your specialty area.
It’s up to you if you want to host one student or several, at home or at a restaurant.
Some alumni invite other medical colleagues to co-host the dinner.

*Dinners are scheduled for specific weekends in consideration of students’ exam schedules. However, if another date is more convenient for you and the student(s), feel free to schedule it for another time.
