If you would like to get more involved with the UW Medicine Alumni Association, here are some opportunities what may be of interest to you.
Class Representative
The class representative is the primary contact between the graduating class and the UW Medicine Alumni Association, especially during the reunion year. Class representatives are invited to attend the spring board meetings and medical alumni events. Contact us if you are interested or want more information.
Reunion Planning Committee
We coordinate reunions for the 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, 50th, and 55th UW Medicine classes every year as part of the All-School Celebration. Our staff takes care of all the details, but the reunion planning committee helps by encouraging classmates to attend. In our experience, this personal contact from fellow classmates is the best guarantee of a good class turnout. Contact us if you are interested or want more information.
Class Agent
As a class agent, you can be the signator on fundraising letters and/or make personal contacts with class members to encourage fundraising for medical student scholarships or other worthy medicine-related funds. Get more information about giving opportunities for UW Medicine or contact the UW Medicine Development Office.
Student Programs
Student-Alumni Informational Dinners (SAID)
These dinners occur three times a year and match medical students interested in a given specialty with UW School of Medicine alumni who practice in that specialty. The alumn provides the student with encouragement, advice, valuable insight and dinner.

HOST (Help Our Students Travel)
The HOST Program has helped hundreds of UW's fourth-year medical students find a friendly home while traveling for their residency interviews. The HOST program puts fourth-year students in touch with UW medical alumni who live in or near the cities where their residency interviews are taking place. The alumni provide students with a free place to stay for one or more nights.
Click here to vist the HOST page for more information or to register to be a host.

These two-hour tours are scheduled in the mornings on the first or third Thursday of each month. Each tour includes an introductory video presenting all aspects of UW health sciences education and a visit to at least one lab, often with faculty or advanced students available to field student questions.
