The goal of this site is to keep our alumni connected with each other, with faculty, with current students, and with the UW School of Medicine. This site is part of the larger mission of the UW Medicine Alumni Association, which is to:
- Support the UW School of Medicine in the fulfillment of its mission, serving as diplomats and advocates in the communities where medical alumni live and work.
- Provide support for students, residents, and fellows at the School of Medicine through programs, scholarships, fellowships, and other financial contributions.
- Establish and maintain a sense of unity among alumni.

U.S. News & World Report’s Top Medical Schools
In spring 2009, U.S. News & World Report released its 2010 rankings for top medical schools. The UW School of Medicine received very high rankings across multiple areas, including its No. 1 ranking in primary care for the 16th consecutive year and its No. 2 ranking for National Institutes of Health funding.

On Thursday, March 19, 2009, the School of Medicine's fourth-year students found out where they'll be spending their residencies — and our News, Community Relations and Marketing group caught some of the Match Day excitement on video.
UW Medicine on UWTV
UWTV, the University of Washington’s award-winning television channel, frequently features talks and presentations from UW Medicine faculty on up-to-the minute issues in research and health care. Available on cable and satellite services, some UWTV features are also available on the web.
