Clerkship questions

How do I get my call schedule?

Seattle and WWAMI sites will e-mail site orientation information, two - three weeks prior to the start date. Check the "contact us" page for information as to whom to contact for call schedule information at your site. Students assigned to Seattle VA Medical Center and Madigan should refer to “Where to Report” handout on the web page for day one information. Questions regarding VA Medical Center call schedule should be e-mailed to the VA Chief Medical Resident.

How do I request time off?

Please refer to the time off policy on the web page.

What is the login and password for the practice computer simulation?

When will medicine clerkship exam scores be available? When will final grades be available?

Exam scores will not be released prior to the final grade. The final grade will be available six weeks after completion of the clerkship. Contact Student Program Administration for the exact date. The final grades will be mailed to your home. Please make sure your address is current in My U.W.

Web Site Questions

Why isn't there didactic material for every section?

Although some authors have provided some didactic material, we expect you to refer to your syllabus when this is not available.

Why aren't the cases always the same as the lectures or syllabus cases?

We hope to allow you to do some review and supplement your ability to test yourself before the final exam (or for the boards).
