DESCRIPTION OF HOUSING: One bedroom basement apartment located in residential area. Apartment is located two blocks from the hospital and clinic in Soldotna. Students are responsible for cleaning and any damage caused while in residence.
WHAT IS PROVIDED IN APARTMENT/DORMITORY? DSL internet connection. Usual amenities are included.
WHAT IS SUGGESTED THAT THE STUDENT BRING? Season clothing, sporting gear, skis.
TRANSPORTATION: Yes. School of Medicine will pay for car rental. Fly to Anchorage and rent car at airport.
PARKING FACILITIES? Yes .
WILL STUDENT RECEIVE ADDITIONAL NOTIFICATION OR INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING HOUSING BEFORE BEGINNING CLERKSHIP? Yes. Student will be sent detailed instructions and given tour upon arrival.
CAN FAMILIES BE ACCOMODATED IN HOUSING? Yes with early notice.
