UW Medicine overall goal: $1 billion
Total private support from July 1, 2000 to June 30, 2007: $865.9 million
The University of Washington is entering the final year of Campaign UW: Creating Futures. The public phase of the campaign was launched in October 2004 with an ambitious goal of $2 billion.
UW Medicine’s goal is to raise $1 billion — half of the University’s original goal.
As of June 30, 2007 (the end of fiscal year 2006–2007), UW Medicine was closing in on its goal, with a total raised from private sources of $865.9 million.
The top chart on this page shows how these funds are being used, as directed by the contributor. The bottom chart shows how much has been committed by the various constituencies of the UW Medicine community.
We are grateful to all of the individuals and organizations that have contributed so generously to our campaign thus far, and we look forward to sharing news with you this time next year about our success in reaching our campaign goal.
