Clinical Site Coordinator
After graduating from high school in Dillingham, Alaska I was hired as a community health aide in my home village of Aleknagik, Alaska. I had been a health aide for many years when I was inspired to go back to school to become a physician assistant. After graduation Southcentral Foundation hired me in their urgent care facility, then I moved home to Aleknagik to serve the people of Bristol Bay in numerous capacities, from teaching health aides to providing care for the people of the region. I then travelled to many areas in the state providing care. I was at the Department of Corrections for the last several years, working to provide the highest quality care for the inmates there.
I have spent my career with the underserved populations of the state and will continue to do so providing intermittent coverage for the Department of Corrections in some of the facilities throughout the state.
I am pleased to be a member of the faculty of the University of Washington and University of Alaska, contributing to the next generation of physician assistants in the state.
