Lecturer,
Didactic Faculty

I began my career on the east coast, as registered nurse practicing in cardiac, trauma, neuro and medical intensive care.  After several years of practicing with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, I took a travel contract that led me to a medical ICU in Seattle, WA, and I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest.  In 2012, I started at MEDEX as a student, and upon graduating have continued to work in hospital, rehabilitation and family medicine.  Throughout the years, I have been a clinical preceptor for nursing, medical and physician assistant students, and have been recognized as an official Clinical Preceptor by the AAPA.  I think it’s just as fun to learn as it is to teach, and in 2016 was bestowed an additional Certificate of Added Qualification from the NCCPA in hospital medicine.

I love medicine, serving my community and sleuthing out the correct diagnosis.  I’m honored to be around staff and students who feel the same, and am thankful for the opportunity to share my passion for complex internal medicine and stomping out polycystic kidney disease.
