In 2016, UW students in support of hosting Tent City 3 on the UW Campus requested a course that would educate them on the complexity of issues facing our homeless populations. This 10-week course, led by MEDEX Northwest physician assistant training program, in cooperation with Dental, Medical, Nursing, Public Health, Social Work and Physical Therapy departments, is designed to address this need.
