Krystal Agtarap is seen here during her 4-month family practice preceptorship with her preceptor, Laura Crabill, PA-C, at Group Health—Puyallup Medical Center. Prior to entering the MEDEX program, Krystle was a physical therapy aide in both outpatient and inpatient settings for over six years. “Initially I went to school thinking I wanted to be a physical therapist,” she says. “But I didn’t want to feel like I was stuck in a specialty for the rest of my life. I heard about the PA profession, and I knew it was just a perfect fit for me.” Looking ahead Krystle sees Primary Care as her best fit. “With primary care a practitioner sees a little bit of everything.”
