Barbara Gunter Flynn
April 10, 1951 – September 1, 2002

In Loving Memory

Barbara Gunter Flynn died Sunday, September 1, 2002 after an inspiring and courageous battle with cancer. Barb was a graduate of MEDEX Northwest Class 12 and was employed by the Washington Department of Corrections in Monroe, Walla Walla and Olympia from 1980-1991. She was the Regional Professional Affairs Director for Group Health Northwest until she left in 1994 to coordinate the startup of the MEDEX Northwest Yakima training program. In 1997 she accepted the challenge of developing a third MEDEX Northwest training site in Spokane.  

Barb was an inspiring teacher, excellent mentor and role model to hundreds of PA students. She was also a gentle and caring friend to us all. Our lives are richer for having known her.
