Corrie Smith joined the Medical Genetics Clinic as a Genetic Counselor in 1998. She first began working in the clinic in 1992 as a student assistant during her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington. She has a special interest in neurogenetics, and provides genetic counseling and risk assessment for a wide variety of inherited conditions.
Ms. Smith received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the UW in 1994, and her Master of Science degree in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College in 1996. She has been certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling since 1999.
