Heidi Holmes joined the Genetic Medicine Clinic in 2009. She provides genetic counseling for a variety of inherited conditions, including cancer syndromes, connective tissue syndromes, dermatologic conditions, cardiovascular genetics, and neurogenetics.
Ms. Holmes graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Pharmacology. In 2004, she completed her Master of Science degree from the genetic counseling training program at Case Western Reserve University. She was board certified in 2005 by the American Board of Genetic Counseling. Prior to joining the UWMC Genetic Medicine Clinic, she was employed for five years as a cancer genetic counselor.
