Vietnam Film Symposium runs October 22 from 1:30 – 8:30pm and October 23 from 2:00 – 8.30pm.
Including feature films Guava Season, Deserted Valley, Sand Life, Traveling Circus and contemporary shorts. Panel discussions with filmmaker Pham Nhue Giang, film scholars Ngo Phuong Lan, Philip Cheah, and UW faculty.
Sponsored by the UW Libraries, the Kenneth S. Allen Library Endowment, the Ethnic Cultural Theater and the Southeast Asian Studies Center.
Free and open to the public.
