The University of Washington, in conjunction with the UW Libraries Media Center, is working to point students towards websites that provide free and legal access to audio and visual materials, through streaming or downloading.

KXOT (91.7 FM) is a National Public Radio member station in Tacoma, Washington. It is programmed by KUOW-FM under an agreement with Public Radio Capital. KUOW broadcasts programming on KXOT that it has no room for on the main station. KXOT offers live streams of its programming.

KUOW-FM (94.9 FM broadcasting) is a National Public Radio affiliate radio station in Seattle, Washington. It is the second most listened to radio station in the Seattle-Tacoma market and the most listened to news radio station in the state. It is a service of the University of Washington. KUOW also provides live streaming of 94,9 FM programming.
