Wyoming makes ready for the start of its WWAMI first-year classes
A renovation is taking place in an existing building on the University of
Wyoming's Laramie campus to accommodate the new WWAMI first-year program.
The renovation, expected to be completed mid-June, includes offices,
classrooms, and an anatomy lab.
The appointment of Paul Wade to teach human anatomy is the only new
faculty position created for the Wyoming first-year medical classes.
Others already on the faculty at the University of Wyoming will teach the
rest of the courses.
They include educators from the College of Health Sciences' departments of
medical technology, pharmacy, nursing, and familypractice residency
programs; the College of Arts and Sciences' departments of zoology, and
physiology and psychology; and from the College of Agriculture's
Department of Molecular Biology.
