Medical students bring international meeting to Seattle
Students from more than 29 medical schools will gather in Seattle April 9
to 11 for an international meeting of the student chapter of Physicians
for Social Responsibility. Members of the Washington state student chapter
planned the conference.

Virtual reality is resulting in substantial reduction of pain
for severe burn patients in a study at Harborview Medical
Center's Burn
Center.
David
Patterson, professor of rehabilitation medicine and a staff
psychologist at the Burn Center, and Hunter Hoffman, a
research scientist at the UW Human Interface Technology
Laboratory (HIT Lab), are
collaborating on the study.
