NEJM releases UW study on Web site
The New England Journal of Medicine has released a UW study on its Web
site seven weeks before its July 15 publication date to ensure that
doctors are notified of the findings as quickly as possible.

Jackson honored for leadership in refugee care
J. Carey Jackson, assistant professor of medicine, has been named a
recipient of a 1999 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Community Health
Leadership Program Award. He was one of 10 individuals
nationally cited May 20 for community health leadership.
