Haggitt to give Abbott Lecture
Rodger
Haggitt, professor of pathology and director of anatomic pathology
at UW Medical Center, has been invited to give the Maude Abbott Lecture at
the 89th Annual Meeting of the United States and Canadian Academy of
Pathology in New Orleans on March 28.
The academy, with more than 6,800
members, is one of the largest and the oldest pathology associations in
North America.
The Maude Abbott Lecture, named after the society's former treasurer and
major benefactor, was established in 1958 to commemorate Abbott's
contributions to research, teaching and service in pathology.
