Researchers seeking volunteers for their studies can now advertise on a centralized UW Web site.

At this point, only UW School of Medicine investigators conducting clinical trials can post their projects on the site. A password is required.Templates are available for submitting study descriptions to review boards for approval.

For individuals seeking to participate in a study, the site offers a keyword search. There's also a separate list for healthy volunteers. The UW Academic Medical Center home page, which receives approximately 10,000 "hits" per month, links directly to the site.
