Tye Minckler has been named director of facilities development and management for the UW School of Medicine. In this new role, Minckler will guide renovation and space planning for the medical school to support its teaching and research programs.
Over 2 million square feet of space are dedicated to research alone at the medical school, including the Research and Training Building at Harborview Medical Center, the Biological Sciences Research Building II (the Rosen Building on Lake Union) and other leased properties.
