Book details linguistic history of medicine

In The Words of Medicine: Sources, Meanings and Delights, WWAMI faculty member Robert Fortuine explores the history of words and phrases used in medical terminology.

Fortuine, a clinical professor of family medicine, teaches in the Biomedical Program at the University of Alaska. He joined the WWAMI faculty in 1989.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation study under way
