WWAMI '76 graduate honored

Kraig McGee, a 1976 graduate of the UW medical school, was chosen as the Distinguished Alumnus for 2001 by the Pocatello High School Education Foundation in Idaho. Three generations of McGee's family have attended Pocatello High School.

McGee was among the first Idahoans to attend the UW medical school through the WWAMI program. After completing a residency in Milwaukee, Wis., he returned to his hometown to practice otolaryngology.

Ramsey serves on AAMC task force

Paul G. Ramsey, vice president for medical affairs and dean of the UW School of Medicine, is a member of the Association of American Medical Colleges' newly constituted Task Force on Financial Conflicts of Interest in Clinical Research. (Full Story)
