Michael D. Snook, a clinical associate professor of family medicine who practices in Colville, Wash., has received the Outstanding Contribution to Rural Health Award from the Washington Rural Health Association.

Robert W. Tulin

Robert W. Tulin, a clinical instructor of medicine in Colfax, Wash, and a 1965 graduate of the UW medical school, was featured in the July 10 Spokesman Review. The article highlighted his longstanding efforts to sustain health-care services in Colfax, including his role in helping turn around a near-failing rural hospital.


Revisions approved for UW Medical School curriculum

Proposed revisions to the UW School of Medicine curriculum have been approved by the Medical School Executive Committee, the medical school's elected Faculty Council on Academic Affairs, the UW Faculty Council on Academic Standards and UW President Richard McCormick. (Full Story)
