Mulligan flew with the donor organs from Anchorage to Seattle the day after the attack and was intercepted by a fighter jet.

At left are Dr. Wesley Van Voorhis and his wife, Rev. Debra Jarvis. The couple were in New York City during the attack and they volunteered their services to assist victims and recovery efforts.
