The UW Center for AIDS Research hosted "Innovations in AIDS Prevention and Care," the sixth national symposium of the NIH Centers for AIDS Research, Thursday, Nov. 14 in Hogness Auditorium. Over 620 people attended the meeting, including some 60 attendees in an overflow room.
During the event experts from the United States and abroad discussed the most recent innovations in HIV/AIDS prevention and care, with an emphasis on translational and interdisciplinary efforts in AIDS research. Policy and advocacy issues were also discussed.
