Justin Reedy, public information specialist in Health Sciences and Medical Affairs News and Community Relations, is the new editor of Online News. Now in its seventh year, Online News is a weekly electronic news service for UW medical faculty, medical students, and residents across the WWAMI region.

Reedy is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he majored in earth and atmospheric sciences. As an intern at The Weather Channel in Atlanta, he reported on weather in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

He has worked as a news reporter in the Atlanta area for the Fayette Daily News, Morris News Service, and most recently, the Clayton News Daily. He has won several top awards for editorial writing and news reporting.
