UW Medicine has record fund-raising year

UW Medicine received $175.7 million in private donations during the 2002-2003 fiscal year, making it their largest-ever fund-raising year. (Full Story)

Above: A $70 million donation from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in the 2002-2003 fiscal year is helping UW Medicine build the joined Genome Sciences and Bioengineering Buildings on the main UW campus. The gift was part of a record fund-raising year for UW Medicine that included more than $175 million in private donations.
