NIH regional seminar on funding and grants set for June 24-25

A regional National Institutes of Health (NIH) seminar on program funding and grants, the first of these seminars to be given in Seattle, will be hosted by the UW School of Medicine's Research Funding Service in June. (Full Story)


	Biosciences career seminar to focus on venture capitalism An investment specialist for Seattle-based Vulcan Inc. will discuss venture capitalist careers in the Biosciences Career Seminar from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. next Thursday, April 8, in Room T-739 of the UW Health Sciences Building. Patricia Beckman, who is responsible for sourcing, diligence, and tracking of biotechnology and health-care related projects for Vulcan, will give the lecture. The event is free and open to all.
