An editor at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press will be at the UW next week as part of the Biosciences Career Seminar series.

David A. Crotty, commissioning editor for the publishing arm of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, a biological research institute in Spring Harbor, N.Y., will give the presentation at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, in Room T-639 of the Health Sciences Building.

Crotty is responsible for acquiring new books and journals, evaluating submitted manuscripts, consulting on book design, writing advertising copy, developing online and other material, and developmentally editing manuscripts.
