Seattle VA sponsoring courses in clinical research methods
The Seattle VA Epidemiologic Research and Information Center (ERIC) is sponsoring courses at the UW campus this summer on clinical research methods and other topics.
The courses are offered through the 6th Annual Seattle Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Clinical Research Methods Summer Session. The educational program will be held between June 21 and June 25 at the UW, and is designed for clinical physicians, researchers, and health care administrators.
The program includes five academic tracks: epidemiology, general biostatistics, advanced biostatistics, genetic epidemiology, and clinical research methods. Continuing education credit is available, and the Seattle VA ERIC is also offering six online courses.
In addition to the Seattle VA ERIC, the summer session is sponsored by the federal Department of Veterans Affairs, the VA Employee Education System, and the UW departments of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine.
