Eric Stern and Leighton Chan recognized for continuing medical education
Eric Stern, professor of radiology and medicine, and Leighton Chan, associate professor of rehabilitation medicine, have won the 2004 Outstanding Continuing Medical Education (CME) Awards.
Stern was selected as the Outstanding CME Course Chair for coordinating three CME courses in radiology and imaging. Chan was named Outstanding CME Course Faculty for his work as a speaker in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Board Review course.
The CME Advisory Committee accepts nominations each year from department chairs, committee members, CME staff, and course participants. The winners receive a plaque and a monetary award at a meeting of the Medical School Executive Council.
