Benjamin Danielson, Alphonzo Flying Cloud receive Multicultural Alumni Awards
Benjamin Danielson, seen here serving as a mentor for Summer Medical Education Program students at the Odessa Brown Children's Clinic in Seattle, was one of two winners of the 2005 Multicultural Alumni Awards, given in a ceremony last month. Danielson won the Charlie Garcia Distinguished Service Award for working as an advocate for diversity in the medical profession. Alphonzo Flying Cloud received the MEDEX Northwest Leadership Award for serving as a role model to minority applicants in the physician assistant program. (Full Story)
