Students to be matched with residency programs on March 17
Most of the 167 medical students graduating from the UW this year will be paired with residency programs on Thursday, March 17, as part of the National Residency Match.
Students and their families will receive their results at a ceremony starting at 8:30 a.m. in the UW Health Sciences Center lobby. The ceremony is open to all faculty, staff, and students.
Some medical students, including those in otolaryngology, urology, neurology, ophthalmology, and those with military training commitments, have already received their match results. Other students will see their match results for the first time at 9 a.m. on Match Day.
Beginning at 10 a.m., those students unable to attend the ceremony can view their results online at the National Residency Matching Program Web site, http://www.nrmp.org/
