I would like to call your attention to corrections needed regarding Honoree information for Deming “Dick” Bronson. It is not acceptable to say he “won” the Medal of Honor. Awarded is appropriate. Bronson played on Gil Dobie’s teams for 1912 to 1915, NOT “1916.” He played for 4 years and received an honorary letter for his faithful service to the team. He did not get enough playing time to earn a true athletic “W.” His position was quarterback.

Thanks very much for your comment, Lynn. “Awarded” is certainly more appropriate, and I have made the change. I’ve also changed the playing time, and it is really interesting to note that he received an honorary letter for his service.
