Emily H. Trittschuh, PhD, is an Acting Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington Medical Center and a licensed clinical neuropsychologist with the Geriatric Education and Clinical Center of the VA Puget Sound Health Care System (GRECC-VAPSHCS). She joined our team in September 2008 after completing a two-year dementia fellowship at the Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer's Disease Center at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She has a B.S. degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Duke University and worked at the Duke Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. Dr. Trittschuh obtained her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Northwestern University in 2006 and completed an internship at Brown University. While her main research interest is dementia, her choice of applied methodologies ranges from functional/structural magnetic resonance imaging techniques to experimental paradigms, and from epidemiological/observational designs to treatment studies.
